Websites that deliver.
I build fast custom websites for SMEs in Antwerp and across Belgium. You speak directly with the person building your site. Afterwards, you can manage it yourself or leave that to me.

In good company
Most of my work is freelance development for agencies and studios. They trust me with their clients:

A lovely site that nobody finds
That’s a business card left in a drawer. Someone searching Google for what you do ends up with someone else.
Usually, a few things are happening at once:
- The page loads slowly on a phone.
- The copy uses different words from your customers.
- Google doesn’t know where your business is.
These things are easiest to get right while building a new website, so I include them from the start.
What you get
- Custom development built around what your visitors are looking for
- Fast on a slow phone
- Findable in Google and ChatGPT
- Accessible with a screen reader or without a mouse
- In Dutch, French or English if you need it
- Manage it yourself or leave it to me depending on how often it changes
Speak to the person who builds it
I’ve been building websites since 2006, professionally since 2010, when I graduated in Multimedia and Creative Technologies at Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences and Arts (opens in a new tab). I teach there now too.
Short deadlines are normal at agencies, so a tight schedule doesn’t scare me.
You can come to me directly for your own website too. For a more extensive project, I usually start at Hyperchicken and bring the right people together. SoBra suits a focused assignment or ongoing work within your team. Either way, you keep talking to me.
Where it fits, I use in-house AI tooling set up specifically for websites. It helps with building, checking and sometimes designing, using my own rules and checks. That leaves more time for details you only notice when they’re missing: a menu that works with a keyboard or an image that doesn’t jump around while loading.
How it works
First
We talk
What should the site do, who is it for and what’s going wrong now? Then you know what I would build and what it costs.
Then
I build
In short rounds, with regular updates so you can steer the work.
Afterwards
We keep it updated
If you make frequent changes, you manage them in a content management system, with an explanation. If little changes, I manage the site and you pay per update.
I only hand it over when I’m proud of it.
Built on trust
I stay available once your site is online. I fix small issues, answer questions and think things through with you when you need advice.
I don’t watch the clock for every little thing. I’m flexible and fair, as long as that works both ways.
Bigger project?
For a webshop, a platform or a site that needs to be truly dynamic, I bring in the network at Hyperchicken, my cooperative for AI and custom work for SMEs (opens in a new tab). The right specialists join when they’re needed, so you pay for the work your project requires.
Questions I often get
How much does a website cost?
A simple one-page site that won’t need changes afterwards starts at €500. A more extensive website starts closer to €2,000. Larger platforms or more complex software have a starting budget of around €5,000. A focused tool can cost less, as can a project where you have already done substantial preparation we can use. After an initial conversation, you get a quote for the work still needed.
How long does it take?
Something very simple can be online in a few days, especially if the copy and images are ready quickly. A more extensive site usually takes a few weeks. A platform or custom software takes longer, depending on what it needs to do. If you have a fixed date, tell me straight away so we can plan for it.
Can I update the site myself afterwards?
Yes, if you want to. You get a content management system and an explanation. If little changes, it often makes more sense for me to manage the site and charge per update.
Can you rebuild my existing site?
Yes. We look at your current content, what works and what could be better. Sometimes I suggest a different content management system if it suits you better. Your domain name stays the same: your new website appears at the same address.
Where is my site hosted?
I arrange hosting and domain names through GeNx (opens in a new tab) in Hemiksem, a Belgian hosting partner I work with regularly. After that, you deal with them directly. Sam at GeNx is happy to help with questions about your hosting or domain.
Will I work with SoBra or Hyperchicken?
SoBra suits a focused website project or ongoing work within your team. I usually handle webshops, platforms and more extensive website projects through Hyperchicken (opens in a new tab), my other company. I remain your contact and bring in the people the project needs.
What happens when you’re on holiday?
Someone from the Hyperchicken network can pick things up. Your site doesn’t get left waiting when I’m away.
Do you work outside Antwerp too?
Yes, across Belgium. We mostly work remotely, but we can meet for the initial conversation, the start of the project or an important meeting. We plan that in advance. I don’t have an office of my own, so I book a meeting room at a nearby coworking space when needed.
