Service · Emails and banners
Emails and banners that just work.
I build HTML emails, newsletter templates and HTML5 banners, mostly for agencies. Emails that look as good in Outlook as on a phone. Banners in every format your media plan needs.

Email is still tricky
An email needs to work in dozens of clients, from Outlook on an old PC to the mail app on your phone, in light and dark mode. Each client displays HTML in its own way.
That’s why I build emails with techniques that work across clients and test them before they go out.
What I build
- Newsletter templates you can fill in and reuse
- Campaign emails for a single send
- Light and dark mode so the email looks right in both
- HTML5 banners in every format in your media plan
- Within the specifications of the platform serving the banner
- Accessible for people using a screen reader too
In-house tools for emails and banners
Alongside MJML, I use in-house AI tooling set up specifically for emails: to build, check and help design them when needed, using my own rules and checks. I also use AI agents tuned to the way I work for recurring banner tasks, such as producing the same banner in twenty formats. That leaves time for details: a smooth animation, text that stays readable in the smallest format.
Nobody reads an email that breaks in Outlook.
Bigger project?
Does the job also include design, copy or the rest of the campaign? Then I bring in the network at Hyperchicken, my cooperative for AI and custom work for SMEs (opens in a new tab). The right specialists join when their work is needed.
Questions I often get
How do you test emails and banners?
I build emails with MJML. For testing, I use Email on Acid and BrowserStack. We agree in advance which email clients, browsers and devices everything needs to work on.
Can we fill in the template ourselves?
Yes. I build the template so you can fill it in and reuse it in your own email platform. I’ve worked with Mailcoach, Responsys and Mailchimp. Using something else? We’ll look at what your platform needs.
How much does a newsletter template or banner set cost?
[Price indication.] The price depends on the design, formats and what’s already ready. A usable design or an existing template can reduce the work needed. You get a quote after I’ve taken a look.
We need it quickly. Is that possible?
Often, yes. Emails and banners tend to arrive at the last minute, which is normal at agencies. I’ll tell you straight away whether it’s feasible.
Will I work with SoBra or Hyperchicken?
SoBra suits email templates, banners or ongoing work with your team. For a campaign project that also needs design, copy or other parts, I work through Hyperchicken (opens in a new tab), my other company. I remain your contact.
